Dodge® TAF™ Harsh Duty™ is the upgraded version of the TAF mounted tapered roller bearing for the dirtiest, toughest applications. A split housing and a factory-greased, sealed inner cartridge are manufactured in the USA at our ISO 9001:2015-certified facility in Marion, North Carolina.
In heavy-particulate environments, over half of premature bearing failures are directly caused by contamination. TAF Harsh Duty bearings are built to stop contamination with upgraded sealing, factory-filled with grease, and connected lubricator compatibility.
Because the bearings are dimensionally interchangeable with SAF-style pillow blocks, upgrading existing equipment is a simple drop-in. In aggregate, mining, grain, cement, and similar operations, TAF Harsh Duty bearings combine contamination protection and industry-leading capacity ratings to keep critical equipment moving and reduce unplanned downtime.
