Dodge® TAF™ mounted tapered roller bearings are built to be the simpler, faster solution for your toughest applications. They’re dimensionally interchangeable with SAF pillow block bearings, so they drop right in where SAF-style units used to be while adding extra strength for demanding conditions.
A cast-iron split housing and field-replaceable cartridge make installation and service faster, so replacing industrial bearings doesn’t have to hold up production. Maintenance teams can swap out SAF-style units without redesigning the equipment around them, install six times faster with no specialized tools, and get back up and running sooner.

Field-replaceable cartridge

Factory-sealed cartridge

65-degree set screw angle
The 65-degree set screw angle delivers the highest holding power to keep the bearing locked securely on the shaft.
2-bolt and 4-bolt pillow blocks
Choose 2-bolt or 4-bolt pillow block housings in bore sizes from 1-7/16 to 7 inches (35 to 180 mm).
±5° static misalignment
TAF bearings handle up to ±5° of static misalignment, so installation goes smoothly even when shaft and housing alignment isn't perfect.
XTS triple-lip seal
The XTS triple-lip seal keeps contaminants out and protects the bearing in demanding operating conditions.
